हमने क्या इससे पहले नहीं सुना है कि ‘यदि पाकिस्तान ���े ऐसा फिर किया तो हम ये कर देंगे’? पर हुआ क्या वैसा?

हम कितना भी बोल लें कि हमने फायरिंग पर विराम ‘अपनी शर्तों पर लगाया’, पर सत्य यह है कि पाकिस्तान आपकी हर शर्त को अपने लिंग के अग्रभाग पर ही रखता आया है।

दो दिन से ड्रोन और मिसाइल मार कर दिल्ली तक को निशाने पर लिया, और हम इसे जीत मान रहे हैं? कहाँ हैं पहलगाम के आतंकी? हमने उनके ड्रोन और मिसाइल को मार गिराया, उनके सौ आतंकी भी मार दिए, पर क्या पाकिस्तान के पास इनकी कमी है?

सौ क्या, आप हजार मार दो! पाकिस्तान को क्या अंतर पड़ रहा है? आप कहते रहो कि पाकिस्तान गिड़गिड़ाते हुए आया, हमने अपनी शर्तों पर स्थगन किया है, इसका कुछ मतलब नहीं। वेश्याओं के ब्रह्मचर्य की कसमों का कोई महत्व नहीं होता।

न उसकी सेना को कोई वैसी क्षति पहुँची, न उनके नेताओं का जोश ठंढा हुआ, न ही आपने नैरेटिव का युद्ध जीता। राइट विंग कल तक पाकिस्तान को मटियामेट करने की कसमें खा रहा था, आज ‘कास्ट सेंसस’ की ही भाँति, इस युद्ध विराम को जीत बना कर इसके लाभ गिना रहा है।

पाकिस्तान को चार भाग में काटने की बात हु�� थी। ये
चौरीचौरा कांड के बाद का गाँधी बनने जैसी बात है।
