Me understand the practice of locking a printer once the instant ink subscription has been cancelled? I believe this is being litigated in Hall vs Hp Inc. cCan you assist me with unlocking a printer?

@ladyvexx_ @HP @BestBuy This is due to their 7 days lock out period that you (we) after too in the terms of service. Once you cancel the instant Ink subscription- there is “up to a “ 7 day lock out period. I just learned this today too

@ladyvexx_ @HP @BestBuy @HP argues they “rent/lease” you the cartridges therefore they can “brick” your printer for a set amount of time until the servers update reflecting you’ve canceled the instant ink subscription.
