9/11 remembrance today. We as a class sat and chatted about how we can’t really relate to the experiences of those older than us because the tragedy happened before our time.
As a class we came up with the phrase: We can’t relate but we can respect and remember!
Great Convos!
Received a call today from my old cooperating teacher from when I was student teaching saying that she got a job as a librarian in the district and wants to give me her whole classroom library since she won’t be needing it anymore….
Grateful is an understatement. She ROCKS!
Some desk pets for my students! Testing anxiety is REAL! Had to show some love to my kiddos for this tough week! Something this small really means the world to them!
Hey y’all! I had to withhold this information from everyone for a while now but just wanted to fill you in…
I am now a FULL TIME 5th grade educator in the HTSD school district! Mr. Mo is here to stay! So excited for this journey!🥹
Sent out this note to all my kiddos!
It’s so hard to even express in words how grateful I am to have met them in this segment of my life but I tried🥹
Happy thanksgiving everyone!
Called in a little help from my Karate instructor- Mrs. Rose, to teach the kids on growth mindset and inner confidence.
We put together a little lesson on the ABC’s of success and the students LOVED it.
These life lessons are just as important y’all! They’ll never forget it!
I have an interview scheduled… like for a job… like a full time job… with benefits… and my own classroom…
So grateful and excited though!
Any interview tips?
Yesterday I hosted a Trunk at Sunnybrae’s trunk or treat all by myself😳!
My kiddos looked amazing and this is only just SOME of the amazing costumes and students that stopped by! I had such a blast and I know they did too!
Such a great event🎃👻
My kiddos asked if Mr. Mo could make it out to their soccer games tonight. I told them that I may not be able to because I was busy but things cleared up and here I am!
Their biggest supporter📣🫂!
Just finished up a 3 day long unit plan on the Bill of Rights. The students had to understand that within this Bill of Rights there were 10 Amendments.
What better way to bring it down to their level then have THEM tell ME what to write for the classroom!
