@thinkright000@lekan_olayinka1 100%
All 3 persons are fully God. Holy Spirit by Himself is 100% God, Jesus by Himself is 100% God, The Father by Himself is 100% God. One is not incomplete without tbe other.
@mikeDahunsi10@Thatnsukkaboy_ So you'd rather believe what someone heretic says about God rather than what God says about Himself? This is pure idolatry. Creating your own God.
@EboEmakhu @VictoryOlaleye Context is money being spent by individuals. One spends in the club, another decides to give to church. Even if we go your route, churches have made more tangible contributions to society than nightclubs despite the tax argument. How many of these nightclubs even pay accurate tax?
Do you tremble at God's word?
Can the Bible change your stance?
Can you stand unashamed with God's opinion even when mocked?
Or do you only use it to "decree and declare"?
Practical holiness demands that you take God very seriously.
No one is asking you to be averse to fun, but there has to be a sense of sacredness once God is involved.
So preachers can't become religious entertainers.
Church services cannot be fun centers.
Gathering of the saints must have an aura of a temple assembly.
We have other days to have fun and amuse ourselves, but when we gather unto the Lord, can we at least turn up in reverence?
You brought your dancing shoes and offerings to church, but did you also bring your mind to listen, learn, and grow in the knowledge of Christ?
God doesn't "show up" in church to be entertained by your church vibes, He wants to train you unto Godliness.
@vsoghec@Row_Haastrup There is no context in which a statement like "I can never follow a poor pastor" is justified. Absolutely no context. "Poverty is proof that there is sin in your life" can never be justified in any context. Let's stop making excuses for people who should know and do better!
@vsoghec@Row_Haastrup A 30 second goof can destroy 45 minutes of soundness. A little leaven is all it takes to leaven the whole lump. That's why scripture cautions that not all of us should desire to be teachers cos it comes with greater scrutiny and judgement.
Christian Marriage is for "willing fools," "happy slaves," and "volunteer-vulnerables."
If you are too wise and too strong to rely on a spouse, please spend your years in celibate service to Jesus.
@lekan_olayinka1 Anyone who says that about Paul is not a christian. A christian believes in the infallibility and divine inspiration of scripture. So don't call them christians cos they are not.
@vsoghec@Row_Haastrup You don't need to drink a full cup of water laced with poison before you drop dead. A sip is all it takes to kill you. Those short clips of his have done more damage than good. Preachers are human. However, we demand doctrinal accuracy from them, and that will not change.
@drjoanemoshogwe The same Holy Spirit inspired those writings. He will never give you another inspiration contrary to the scriptures. Do you really understand the divine inspiration behind the scriptures? And do you really believe it? Sometimes we treat the bible like a science textbook. Hmmm
@vsoghec@Row_Haastrup He never said prosperity was bad. He said don't preach just one aspect of the gospel. Preach the whole counsel of God in order to remain balanced and avoid going into error. That's all the man said.
Multitudes will find themselves in hell, their titles will not save them there, their possessions will be useless there, their earthly accomplishments will be consumed by fire, save yourselves from this generation. Return to the Lord now that He may be found. Trim your lamps and be steadfast unto the end.
@MatthewSch90143 @Demon_Bulldozer You miss his point entirely. He is speaking against transactional worship; where we serve God not because of who He is but for what we can get from Him.
