Today, Year 5 had a great discussion with some local police officers and PSCOs, who spoke to us about antisocial behaviour and even stuck around to enjoy a Game of football with us at lunchtime! 👮‍♂️⚽️👮‍♀️

Year 5 had the amazing pleasure of speaking with Amanda Maslin-Barr, an ex-England Striker, who is now a coach for girls football! ⚽️
She shared how her determination and perseverance helped her succeed in achieving her goals, and reminded Year 5 to always try their hardest! 🤩

The children asked amazing questions and were very welcoming to all of our visitors today! 🕋☪️🕌

Year 5 have had an excellent afternoon! 🎨🤔💭
In Art we had the pleasure of speak to Ameera Dawood, a female artist, who spoke to us about her inspiration, process and methods of creating beautiful pieces of art! 🤩

This afternoon, we worked scientifically to investigate which ground surfaces creates the most amount of friction. 🚗
We planned, predicted, carried out and evaluated our results, being sure to use our scientific terminology! 🧪

Year 5 had a brilliant afternoon with @MrsJParkinson today! ✨📚

In History, we recapped the various women we have learned about the previous weeks and used role-play and drama to explore how these people might present themselves during an interview! 🔎📝

We had the most amazing day at @Discovery_Hyde today celebrating the jubilee!! 👑
We started the day crafting some beautiful #Jubilee decorations, then we had a brilliant tea party and games on the field! 🏸🏏🥅🥏
