The namaz-e-janaza of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson for Inqilab Mancha, was held on Saturday afternoon at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Dhaka. The funeral prayers began at about 2:30pm, after large crowds streamed into the capital from early morning to attend.

From around 10:00am, mourners arrived in small processions along Manik Mia Avenue, many chanting slogans demanding justice for Hadi’s killing.

গাযায় ইসরাইলি গণহত্যার বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিবাদ জানানোয় বাংলাদেশি শিক্ষার্থীর ভিসা বাতিল করল মার্কিন দূতাবাস।

সম্প্রতি বাংলাদেশি এক শিক্ষার্থী পেনসিলভেনিয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ডক্টরেট স্কলারশিপ করতে আবেদন করে। যার ভিসা ক্যান্সেল করে দেয় ঢাকায় নিযুক্ত আমেরিকান দূতাবাস।

ঐ শিক্ষার্থীর ভিসা বাতিলের অন্যতম একটি কারণ ছিল, গাজায় ফিলিস্তিনিদের ওপর চলা ইসরাইলি গণহত্যার বিরুদ্ধে তিনি সরব ছিলেন।
