@Podcastpotters Robins needs to fine tune his timing and striking of the ball in the final third and he’ll be an absolute beast for us, not to mention our midfield last season was poor to say the least and we struggled to even create chances, we don’t want to give him time but it’s what he needs

@Podcastpotters I really liked his workrate and hunger to win the ball today and create a scoring opportunity, he’s still fairly young and has a lot of room for improvement, Gyokeres scored 3 goals in 19 games before his real breakthrough season, Slating him is gonna do absolutely nothing good

@Podcastpotters We definitely need a striker with some better more proven background however i think Smit is still adapting to the speed, intensity and physicality of the league, he’s not been given much game time admittedly he does make some frustrating errors mainly in his striking of the ball

I get some things might have to happen but for us to not have a single attacking addition before our second preseason game is frustrating when we had such a great start to the window 🫣

@fumantew @stokecity Tchamadeu’s been great other than a proper unfortunate deflection that gave them a free 1 on 1, we look a bit disjointed but in theory with Boz’s shocking miss we could be atleast a few goals up, alot to work on but the midfield certainly looks considerably better

@scfc_ben18 It’s a tough one because the price and interest of proven strikers in our division is fairly high although it seems like we have the best budget we’ve had in years it’s still smart to look abroad even if it does involve a high level of risk,maybe we’ll get a proven and unproven🤞🏻

@charliescfc_ In a strange way the fact we’re apparently spending 8 figures on a absolutely sensational player is something we’ve not done probably since we first got relegated to the champ so it’s certainly a statement of intent and I’m all for it! The midfield was one of our weakest areas 🤞🏻
