Looking forward to our extended London breakfast on Friday 25 Jan. Great to have @Mr_Property_W1 @Grosvenor_GBI @BillHughesLGIM@LandsecGroup involved in the #development and #investment panel. There's still time to book your place and join the debate https://t.co/8kL74CjW1k
@lizpeaceCBE@LandAid LandAid was founded to answer that question not ask it. We have all committed considerable time and money to making LandAid the property industry’s charity, not a lobby group. Paul needs to be engaging the industry in delivering effective initiatives
Oh dear @MayorofLondon@SadiqKhan >> Now we realise that the Deputy Mayor of Planning doesn’t in fact understand real estate, planning, markets or funding. Strong comments from @Mr_Property_W1 https://t.co/7ROwlH9mTN
@MarcopoloLondon Not much point if they don’t read the original statement. We have stood down the agents, not withdrawn apartments from the market. We have an in house sales team.
@lsofd Public record. Beautiful new onsite units, new public square at our cost despite reduction in developed area. Listed building. We will complete and handover our affordable to Westminster 2 years before completion of Marble Arch. #barkingupwrongtree
@lsofd The expensive flats pay for the affordable houses and public realm which are completed, handed over and occupied. We can not control government fiscal policy which added 10% to cost of buying while we were under construction.
Stamp duty is a tax on equity and requires buyers to find more cash. This destroys liquidity in the market: increases transaction costs, slows sales pace and discourages new investment in new housing that delivers affordable housing. #politicalowngoal
David Davis on #r4today is a man who can't take responsibility. For two years he's been in charge of Brexit. No one in the world is as much to blame for this monumental mess as himself.
John - Immigrants ARE ordinary people. They drive your train to work. They're working in your hospital. They're working in your office. #r4today https://t.co/HFTSd0bTTU
Delighted to announce the opening of Grabinsky's new "Festival Cafe" at Southbank Place, celebrating the 1951 Festival of Britain which took place on this site. Thanks to cafe manager Lisa for cutting the ribbon! Loving the '50s vibe! Stop by for a coffee next time you're on site
Brenda Dean is such a loss. She was a pioneer in housing politics the unions and the Lords. She was widely and deeply respected as a truly courageous effective leader who everyone who worked with her loved. She helped me so much. She will be so missed.
