Look what arrived in the post from @ShakesInstitute@unibirmingham - it was both huge fun (especially residential modules) and a horrible uphill struggle (that's YOU I'm talking about dissertation) but I'm pleased I got there in the end. #Shakespeare#Masters

I'm beyond excited that my little romantic revenge thriller (of sorts) has made the Longlist of @PressHenshaw@HobeckBooks short story competition. I had a lot of fun writing it over the school summer holidays.
@Cherylbaker@remembermonday_ Loved the skirt rip at the start. Surely a nod to you and Jay @Cherylbaker? Great vocals and such a fun song. Surely left hand side of the board???
Also... (#AlienRomulus ) it was so weird to have the resurrected Ash android refer to the only survivor of the Nostromo and pan to a picture of John Hurt - the first to die. I can only assume Sigourney understandably said no to her image being used. Good judgement Siggy....
@MR_FRANClS I totally agree. Aesthetically, it looked amazing but it was all hollow. I didn't care about anyone. Agree on Hudson. And I forgot to mention Dillon - he was incredible in 3
#AlienRomulus was only okay. Too many references to the quadrilogy - reused dialogue, little originality. The director is clearly a franchise fan, which is nice. I was never bored, but wasn't excited or scared. And no characterisation came close to Ripley, Hicks, Clemens etc.
