Why do I simultaneously love COMMUNISM, SOCIALISM & CAPITALISM? Because HERBIVORES, OMNIVORES & CARNIVORES can-&-must harmoniously coexist - no 1-size fits all.
"International law" is in the sewage reservoirs.
The UN needs to be reformed:
1. The "Veto Power" must be cancelled.
2. All countries must be members of the 'Security Council'.
3. There must be harsh/prohibitive consequences for breaches.
4. All countries must reform 'Journalism Standards' - to get rid of "brown envelope journalism" (sponsored propaganda) - the 'ethics code' of journalism must also include lifestyle audits to ensure that journos live within their means. Bad journalists must be lengthily jailed.
5. A two-state solution (Middle East) must be enforced - based on the 'Oslo Accords', as a starting point for potential "renegotiations" (if necessary).
Currently NATIONS AIN'T UNITED - therefore the UN must make a name-change from "UN" to "NAU".
@Mothematiks You reap what you sow.
Where there is alcohol, there is no order, no respect, no decency - so when you go there, you deserve whatever happens.
Meet Kosiso Destiny Ejiofor, the young Nigerian football star whoβs just 11 years old but already showing the world what heβs made of, scoring 145 goals in 52 games at Barcelona's La Masia. Heβs a name every football fan should know.
@Calu_Phyll@Mothematiks@RhuuMagoda They're still planning to tell a nephew to go register a company, and watch YouTube videos to see how the job is done.
The nephew will then pretend to apply for the tender - which was already reserved for him.ππ²π₯΄
Bafethu, please donβt raise your boys to be feminine. Instead, teach them to be strong young men so that one day they can become better husbands and fathers β responsible family men with strong leadership qualities.
It's a "run-after-being-hit"π€£π€£ππ
He's running because he has no license (probably) - therefore, he is liable for all concomitant expenses (expenses emanating from - or related to - that particular collision).
If a you are involved in a collision, and the other driver has a driver's license, while you have none - the law holds you responsible for the whole thing.
Regardless of who's wrong, and who's right.
If you don't have a driver's license - even if the other driver is wrong - the law says you are more wrong than the legal driver.
Even if he (the legal driver) was at fault - if you were not driving illegally (bereft of license) - his fault was not gonna affect you - so you are being punished for that, by the law.
Expenses like:
1. Hospital bill / medical expenses of yourself;
2. Private hospital bill / medical expenses of the legal driver (and passengers and/or pedestrians injured - or dead, if they die in hospital);
3. Repair of your damaged vehicle;
4. Repair of the damaged vehicle of the legal driver;
5. (If the affected parties drag you to court) Attorney fees for your own legal representation;
6. (If the affected parties drag you to court) Attorney fees of the legal representation of the affected parties;
7. Other related fees / financial liabilities - like the loss-of-income while receiving medical treatment in hospital (the affected parties thereof) - et al;
8. You will still face criminal charges and inprisonment - for your negligence/recklessness or driving-while-intoxicated.
He say's:
"With one monopoly..."
'Mono' means 'one'.
When he keeps saying: "with one monopoly" - there is an implication that 'there must be multiple monopolies.'
Which then makes absolutely no sense.
He must replace "with one monopoly" with something like "with one company" or "with one provider."
Listen carefully.
From this, it appears that he, and the government he leads, are of the view that the State should have a limited role in the economy, and it is the Private Sector that drives growth and development.
You see it, in the latter portion, where he posits that (State) monopolies in network industries invariably lead to inefficiencies and competition unlocks that. He then says, without supporting it, that the privatisation (by stealth) will lead to lower costs over time.
Iβm not certain how this all tracks with the dream to build a Developmental State. Neither am I certain that it is tracks with the evidence we see across the globe where even developed countries such as the UK are attempting to roll back their Thatcher-era privatisation policies. They do so, having realised that the promised efficiencies and lower cost to consumers have not materialised, and instead it has simply enriched Big Business and their friends in politics.

NβGolo Kante is a very simple, humble man.
But I hope he's not a simp.
The last time a footballer of brown skin and curly hair was a simp - Emmanuel Eboue gave all his money to his wife.
She took it all, sucked him dry and divorced him - he was left with nothing to show for his football career.

In this case...
Don't attribute to malice what can be explained by humour.
