From my long phone convo today with the IRS, if you did your previous year taxes through an agency like a tax firm or TurboTax, many of your stimulus payments are being sent directly to them. They have to, in turn, kick them back to the IRS who will then mail them out to you.

@raviki81720424 That’s what it says and that may be the case. But that’s what the guy over the phone told me. He even said, “oh you used turbo tax huh? I see it here in the system that that’s where your deposit was sent”. He was like they’ll kick it back and then we have to mail it to you 🤷🏾‍♂️

@HeatherMHorton1 ...could take up to 2 weeks. Then it has to be reprocessed by the IRS and a check cut and sent out which could take another 3-4 weeks. Didn’t make any sense cuz I got my first stimulus directly though direct deposit. But that’s what they told me.
