If you feel like you lack patience, it’s because as a society we don’t have to practice that skill anymore.
We used to have to drive to Blockbuster, rent a movie, go home, put it in the VHS player, watch it, rewind it, then take it back. Now people get upset over 5 seconds of buffering on Netflix.

The solution? Get some hobbies that require patience and long periods of focus. No instant gratification. Playing an instrument, painting, woodworking, gardening are some examples. Even puzzles or reading. You need to practice the skill of patience to get it back.
