No one in their right mind would fight in a war where over 14,000 people die weekly, so no Africans or African soldiers intend to fight for money. Even if they did, it would be nearly impossible, as almost all African nations tightly control their soldiers, making desertion to go fight in Ukraine or Russia almost impossible.
News reports show that all captured Africans say they were lured by job offers, as their governments claim too.
Well you are making g it seem like it’s only Ukraine that does it . Reports show that allegedly Russia has taken it to the next step by getting solid idea as far as from Africa and they are lured there on assumptions of jobs only to find themselves at the frontlines so both sides could be guilty. This war is just pointless and a lot of innocent lives being lost.
For everyone who doubts the story or thinks this wasn’t suicide I’ll try break this down :
I'm not a coroner, but using logic and documentaries on investigations, I'll break this down.
Once a body is discovered, police carefully remove it without altering it. The coroner then examines it, noting every detail from knowledge and experience to reach a conclusion. So in this case , the girls drowned at night so cannot rule a swimming accident considering it was too dark to swim, the three girls drowned at the same time - an accident to cause this would be a boat accident but wasn’t one , they look for bruises or signs of struggle that could prove they were forces but none was found . They looked at forensic searches and mental state over the years which all point to the same conclusion. So the list goes on and from the police work too the coroner makes the fina decision.
So now unless you claim a corrupted whole UK police force, this points to the same direction

Thank you
I've thought the same & comment in his section but get backlash from ppl there who can't see the bigger pic. When he tarnishes UG's name online it hurts not just govt but investors, tourists & foreign companies who see chaos online on the posts & skip us.
Oppositions job is to flag govt wrongs & direct on how it could be done better but public posts do more harm than good.
Uganda is now now on the United States Lvl 4 : Don't Travel list as a "warzone." This means we are classified as people in an active war zone .But are we a war zone ? Let’s speak honestly, can you compare us to Somalia & Sudan ??
People are highlighting the police officer from yesterday’s shooting which was wrong but go online and fact check this : the US police kills about 1200 people a year in police brutality(these are the ones mentioned as that ) and the Ugandan forces killed about 245 people through police brutality but have you ever seen their opposition publicly criticizing their nation and tagging the UN ?? Or do they try their best to handle it internally because publicly produces more harm than good but us Ugandans we think otherwise
Have the posts made UG better or worse?
@HEBobiwine
That’s what I thought earlier but you can go ahead and good this , the best universities in the world have an average budget of about $3.5 billion dollars -4.5 billion dollars every year. In Ugandan context thats about 15 trillion Uganda shillings to 17.5 trillion shillings.
Now our national budget was about 75 trillion shillings and so should we spend around 20-30% of it on just one university??
For now we cannot afford that but @zaharahtt i understand your point hope you see mine
I said the boda man or who ever in that situation implying other times police-civilian confrontations that involve boda men or normal civilians they are always shouting ans in some cases throwing stones at the armed forces not specifically the one who was killed yesterday .
This is normal literature @Geo_Sci_expat
And i get your point but no one came and said that the best is not abroad. I didnt here the govt say Makerere is better that Cambridge University OR Oxford University.
What is here is what is best for the average ugandan which is the majority and abroad is what is generally better but for those who can afford.
@FredShaka@PoliceUg@mkainerugaba@Godfrey__K@Wassajja_Aiden Word is he was forcing passage in a restricted zone after he was told that he cannot pass. He forced himself to pass there and the altercation ended with a fatal shooting.
There was nothing like him refusing to sweep and was shot
Anyway RIP to him
Did you go out and clean today? Atleast the people who were watching went out to clean naye gwe you were at home judging people who came out to work for not attacking 12 armed guards with authority to shoot when attacked. Be serious nawe
You want to fight go to the police station hes at
There is alot of exploitation that i believe and the laws that protect Ugandans are not that strong yet once it comes to implementation but for now we cannot say the investors should be taxed highly and they leave because they are exploiting ugandans. Them leaving means no jobs and economic downfall so for now we have to work with it and once we are developed enough then can we have the leverage to say that if you exploit and dont pay above such and such price then leave but now we cannot afford it
The thing is that Ugandans you just like to complain and start things which are unnecessary, i said that it was wrong from the officer but the boda man was also at fault here cause he was forcing himself in a restricted area so both are at fault but all you people want and i can see it in the comment section is only look at the side that makes you happy. You dont want the full truth you just want the side that allows you to point the finger
I don’t condone this and say that killing the boda man was a good thing. BUT I don’t want to say that it was one sided and that these are trigger happy criminals just as Mr Robert is saying it but I and most people have witnessed these things before and in such situations the boda man or who ever in that situation is actively provoking the police or UPDF officer shouting words, throwing stones or even trying to fight them when they have a gun. This situation i believe could have easily been avoided by both staying in their lanes. Killing is not good but poking the bear never produces great results.
Let’s be respectful of one another and promote peace

@gloriabae01
why are you spread wrong information about the incident?? The eye witness testimony and police report says he was forcing his way through a restricted area and the policeman shot him. He wasnt asked to clean and he refused but they told him you can pass here (not sure if he was on his boda or not) and he said no and insisted to pass and the altercation caused the shooting. please make your research before coming here and spreading wrong information to unsuspecting people. Now everyone in your comment section believes you and thats not right.
Clearly you don’t know what you are saying. You were not on the scene and no detailed report has come out stating the circumstances in which this happened. Maybe the boda man attacked the police officer or the police officer just had his wired lose we don’t know yet. Let’s not come here and just say things out without the full image so for now kee your hate to you
