*She Built a House. Government Brought a Bulldozer.*
She sold akara for 22 years to build 4 rooms in Ikorodu. Her plan was simple: tenants will pay, she will never beg to eat.
A man in church sold her land. She paid installmentally. She built it block by block.
Then one Tuesday, government came. Bulldozer. "This land was sold illegally. It's government land."
Her papers were fake. In 3 hours, 22 years disappeared.
Today she sleeps under the bridge in Ikeja.
*Moral: It can always get worse.*
We think we've seen the worst, but life can always dig deeper.

For many years, it was ok and fashionable to blame colonisation and imperialism for Africa's🌍 obvious misgovernance.
But the bitter pill💊 is - that's not the most reasonable explanation. African countries, at some point must also pause and ask themselves what they have done with the freedom they viciously fought for and got.
Blame games only drain.
