MRC funded collaborative research study investigating the causal role of innate immunity in psychosis: aiming to develop new targeted treatment options
Excited about welcoming colleagues to Bristol tomorrow for our @The_MRC Psychosis Immune Mechanism Stratified Medicine (PIMS) Collaboration annual meeting.
Guest lecture from Prof @MondelliValeria
@RachelUTG @MrcPims are you ready?
Thrilled to see Fabi @_Fabi_CZ presenting a fantastic topic today on the role of immune regulation in psychosis and mental health @MIDASUoB excited to be part of this work @MrcPims
At the @BAPsych conference?
Don’t miss our symposium on novel immunological mechanisms and treatment options for schizophrenia
26th July 9-11.30
With @bdeako @RachelUTG @GaryD2011 and Rebecca Woods

@MrcPims@IMH_UoB
We conclude the day with fantastic talks on cell and animal models, imaging, and population samples! Thanks
@EdPalmer5, Connor Dunleavey, Alex Murray @IMH_UoB and Rebecca Woods (Manchester)
Thanks to all presenters and those who dialled in!
Our very own @MrcPims post doc Andrey Barskey talks about unpacking the black box of ML, and applying generative deep learning to explicitly model structural brain differences and their relationships with key biomarkers.
Great example of @orygen_aus and @IMH_UoB collaborations demonstrated by stellar PhD students @P_Lalousis and @herniman_sarah! Fantastic work using ML and network modelling to map psychosis symptoms and inflammation.
The 2nd PIMS virtual away day is about to kick-off! We have a fantastic line-up of ECR talks throughout the morning! First up is @benjmnperry presenting his work on 'Inflammation as a cause of insulin resistance in schizophrenia' @IMH_UoB@RachelUTG@golam_khandaker
