too smart to be manipulated by APC propaganda. Which one is ''Buhari completed 8 years, Tinubu must complete 8 years...''
...you just settle down dey fight for your fellow man's personal interest.
What have you and your children gained from the man's first 4 years?
It is still better than what you are doing; playing pessimists and doing nothing - just waiting to get brutalised. Compared to that protest It is fighting back. The alternative is to sit quietly and take it. And that is what you would rather people do, isn’t it? Sit down like obedient cattle.
If the people before you had simply accepted whatever was imposed on them, you would still be living under military rule. The democracy you enjoy today was built on protests, resistance, and people who refused to accept the status quo.
EndSARS was something else.
People dug up Tinubu’s personal number and made it public. Young people organised, mobilised, sent out ambulances, arranged legal aid, raised funds, and looked out for strangers.
We built our own systems, and made things work.
we experienced what power looked like outside the control of the political establishment.
We were young, angry, organised, and audacious.
It was glorious.
APC supporters think that believing Tinubu can win makes them logical.
Sad souls. They fail to understand that once you destroy the credibility of the electoral system, you create the conditions for strongmen to rise. And one day, Nigeria could become another Cameroon.
The irony is that when that day comes, it might be a candidate you support who is shut out of the system.
Then, suddenly, you will understand what is at stake.
By then, it may be too late to do anything about it.
You don’t destroy democratic institutions just because the person benefiting from their destruction is your preferred candidate.
One day, the same broken system will come for you.
You people who claim to be the most logical somehow fail to recognise how illogical your own reasoning is.
Every argument can be reduced to 2 essential parts: premises and a conclusion.
For example:
Premise 1: All humans are mortal.
Premise 2: John is human.
Conclusion: Therefore, John is mortal.
The conclusion follows logically from the premises. This is a valid deductive argument.
Now, my premise was simple: Atiku has no viable pathway to winning the election.
You disagreed and argued that he has the North.
I pointed out that the North alone cannot win an election.
You agreed.
So, why did you disagree with my original premise in the first place?
I read your comments and eventually figured out what was happening: you were so consumed with attacking Obi’s pathway in your head that you lost sight of the actual argument. You were arguing against something that was never part of my premise in the first place.
You weren’t addressing my argument. You were arguing against the argument you imagined I was making.
And somehow, you still think you’re the logical one. 😂😂
