I 💜 getting smacked w/ a $500 bill from mercy from 2021 & being threatened with collections BECAUSE THEY DID NOT UPDATE MY ADDRESS. Sent the bill notifications to an address I no longer live at, despite me correcting my address with multiple offices. 🖕🏻

This is a good thread. The replies remind me of how my previous institution allowed two separate supervisors to fail to fulfill their duties, leading to my student employee rights being violated, and with me being fired. I had fam & mental health struggles that year & no support.

Found out lil dude has a grade 2 almost 3 heart murmur and is HoH on his way to being deaf. Thank fucking goodness for our amazing vet. She's contacting her old profs at MU to get us in line for a head CT so we can find out why/if we have a shot at saving his hearing
