The IGS PE department took an exciting BIIGGG delivery in the office today. The new javelins and shot puts arrived. These pieces of equipment were bought with some of the funds raised by the sports council in their virtual “LEJOG” challenge in July. Awesome effort!

I couldn’t be prouder of the chaps in y7/8 myself and Miss Haigh took to the Northern regional tennis finals! My first major final at IGS, with the boys finishing 3rd place!

On Wednesday the 20/21 Sports Council iLeader team handed over their £250 giant cheque to their chosen charity @DisSportYorks! This was from the ‘virtual LEJOG’ fundraiser in July last academic year. Well done all! @Ilkleygrammar
