If you are broke as a man, it’s not only women that will treat you bad with utter disrespect, even your friends, family and enemies will treat you one kind. It’s only you and God.
Do you guys know the crazy thing about this stat??
Ronaldo went through a two-year competitive international goal drought for Portugal (2008 - 2010), that’s 2 years without him scoring a single goal for Portugal in 16 competitive games.
The media scapegoated him, called him washed and finished, and to be honest most players would have folded after going through such a dry spell, but not Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro ⚽️ 🐐
Anytime you take a giver for a fool, look inward.
People often misunderstand kindness. They confuse consistency with weakness, generosity with dependency, and patience with a lack of options. They assume that because someone keeps showing up, keeps helping, keeps sacrificing, they will continue doing so regardless of how they are treated.
But givers do not always give because they have little sense. Most times, they give because they have a large heart.
The dangerous mistake begins when people start treating generosity as an entitlement rather than a gift. A hand that extends support repeatedly can slowly become invisible to the person receiving it. Appreciation becomes expectation. Gratitude becomes routine. Respect begins to fade.
Then comes the illusion: "They will always be there."
That is where introspection becomes necessary.
Because when you take a giver for a fool, the question is not whether the giver lacks wisdom. The question is: what in you makes you undervalue what others willingly pour into your life? Is it pride? Is it selfishness? Is it familiarity? Or have you become so accustomed to receiving that you no longer recognize value until it disappears?
The irony is that givers usually stay silent longer than most people expect. They absorb disappointments, overlook offenses, and continue extending grace. But silence should never be mistaken for ignorance. People with kind hearts often see more than they say.
And when they finally withdraw, people are shocked.
Not because the giver changed, but because they forgot one truth: even rivers that nourish the land have boundaries.
The issue was never the giver.
The issue was the assumption that kindness had no limit.
The generosity was real. The mistake was believing it came without value.
Who do they think they are to tell a player to leave Real Madrid to come to united to lower his wages. I believe if anybody of his profile is leaving Real Madrid, it will be because of money to begin with...
🚨 | #mufc love Aurélien Tchouaméni, and he's considered a dream signing, but the club consider the financial value of the deal TOO HIGH.
His salary is also considered too high, and United will only consider him if he lowers his salary demand, and at the moment that is not happening. [@FabrizioRomano]
I recently felt betrayed by a friend... I never knew it was a thing until of recent.
But as usual, like I always do to any type of betrayal, I said it to the person's face, and I moved on. No fuss and friendship continues, but this time, without any expectation.
