In Obsession, the story isn’t saying “women can’t make men happy” or anything like that. It’s actually about obsession, control, and the illusion of wish-fulfillment.

The “wish” element in the film isn’t framed as a solution to emotional problems, it’s a narrative device that shows:

So the moral is closer to:

You can’t manufacture love or emotional stability through control or shortcuts.

Not:

The movie is really about psychological breakdown and consequences of obsession, not a statement about men vs women.

Bad Take #2:

We’re barreling toward another possible lockdown because some people are flat-out selfish.

COVID already showed us the truth: masses refused to mask properly, blew off the 6-foot rule, and straight-up coughed on anyone who called them out. Said they couldn’t breathe or had issues breathing like as if people with asthma/harsh breathing conditions weren’t suffering as well I was because I have asthma and I can get sick easily but I masked up, I stayed 6 feet and respected everyone as best as I could.

Even before this Sick people still went out unmasked. Others dragged themselves to work contagious because they had zero PTO and they still probably didn’t wear a mask while at work.

And you know what. I too have done this. I too have worked while sick because I didn’t have the PTO or sick time. But at least I tried to contain it while wearing my masks properly, and doing all good things.

And you’re really gonna sit here and tell me we won’t see Lockdown Season 2? 😂
