This is embarrassing. Melinda had to wait 55min for a cab to get her mom back to the hotel after surgery. @bcndp this is terrible healthcare and terrible transportation policy. @CityofVancouver if you want to be a world-class city, your transportation options need improvement.

It’s 8:30 am on a weekday. 3 minutes on hold with a cab company, and it’ll be 10-15 minutes wait, TO GET MY MOM HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL. Vancouver needs ride shares and taxi reform now. @CityofVancouver @ridesharingnow
