Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمہ اللہ said:
“Whoever laughs at the people will be laughed at. And whoever humiliates his brother for a [bad] deed will inevitably be afflicted with it.”
[Al-Furūsiyyah Al-Muhammadiyyah p. 400]
A man once said to Imam 'Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak رحمه الله:
"Give me some advice."
He replied:
• Leave unnecessary looking, and Allah will grant you khushūʿ (humility) in worship.
• Leave unnecessary speech, and Allah will grant you wisdom.
• Leave unnecessary eating,…
Sufism without Islam is like a candle burning in the open without a lantern. There are winds which may blow that candle out. But if you have a lantern with glass protecting the flame, the candle will continue to burn safely.

THE STORY OF THE MAN WHO AVOIDED ZINA
There was once a man-righteous, devout, and deeply connected to Allah. Every night, he would sit in the mosque, immersed in studying Hadith, seeking knowledge, and guarding his soul….
"Bir bedeviye: “Evlenmeyecek misin?” diye soruldu.
Bedevi dedi ki: “Senin dindar ve güzel bir kız kardeşin var mı?”
Adam: “Hayır.” dedi.
Bedevi de: O hâlde sus. (boş konuşma) dedi."
The Arabs in old times used to say:
Four things separate brothers:
wealth, women, jealousy, and death.
Four things make you lose your value among people: talking too much, laughing too much, lying, & gossiping.
Four things by which a wife ruins her home:
stubbornness, anger,
An Arabic proverb says; “Keep your house clean like you're expecting guests.Keep your heart clean like you're expecting death.” This hits deep, a reminder we often forget.
now take this information and flip it. constantly pointing out the things you are grateful for can train your brain to notice more things to be grateful for. constantly noticing abundance will train your brain to notice even more abundance. flip the script & stay in control.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"You should pray Qiyam al-layl, for it's the habit of the righteous people who came before you, and it'll bring you Closer to your Lord, expiate for bad deeds, prevent sin, and expel disease from the body."
(At-tirmidhi and Ahmad)
Zakariya (AS) prayed for a miracle when his bones were weak & his hair was grey. He knew that Allah’s mercy knows no limits.
if your dream feels impossible, remember: Nothing is 'too late' for your Creator. He hears the whisper you haven’t even spoken yet.
Keep hope alive.
How to soften your heart:
-Make more Dua.
-Read more Quran & ponder it deeply.
-Remember Allah often. (Dhikr)
-Spend more time in sujood.
-Seek forgiveness constantly.
-Forgive as much as you can.
-Do more charity.
-Spend more time with elders & kids.
-Purify your intentions.
We are not certain that Allah has accepted our acts of worship during Ramadan. That is why the righteous predecessors used to say: after completing their fasting, they would spend six months asking Allah to accept their deeds from Ramadan, and then another six months asking Allah to allow them to reach another Ramadan.
This shows how much they feared that their عبادات might not be accepted, despite their efforts.
A believer should not rely solely on their deeds. Rather, they should continually ask Allah to accept their good actions and forgive their shortcomings. For the acceptance of deeds by Allah is the greatest goal after performing acts of worship.
May Allah have mercy on us and accept our deeds in this blessed month.
