Hey X 👋
I'm (not) new here.
My name is Edward, I'm a web designer who works with fashion and lifestyle brands to build clean, high-converting ecommerce websites.
Truth is, I’ve been building quietly for a while…
designing websites, helping clients, figuring things out behind the scenes but not really sharing any of it.
I’ve made mistakes.
I’ve doubted myself.
And I’ve restarted more times than I can count.
So I’m challenging myself to show up here for the next 100 days and document my journey. The wins. The struggles. And everything in between.
I’ll be posting about what I’m learning/have learnt about web design, e-commerce, and the real struggles of trying to build and grow something meaningful.
If you’re also trying to build something and not pretending to have it all figured out, you’re not alone. This can be your safe space. 🤗
Undiagnosed ADHD symptom nobody talks about: Your handwriting changing completely based on the pen you are using, how fast your thoughts are moving, and whether the paper has lines.
''The whole of what we know is a system of compensations. Every defect in one manner is made up in another. Every suffering is rewarded; every sacrifice is made up; every debt is paid."
I had heard about the law of compensation before. But Ralph Waldo Emerson explained it most profoundly:
"For everything you have
missed, you have gained something else; and for everything you gain, you lose something else."
Cooking for yourself is where you find out if you actually give a shit about your own life. because nobody is watching, nobody will know, nobody will thank you, and it still takes time and attention. and if you cannot do this one small thing for yourself, then everything else you claim is probably a lie
@MrMekzy_ I would have agreed 100% with you if this post was made last year. This year's rainfall in Lagos is the worst I've seen since I moved here. It's been raining here everyday since July started
