On Tuesday 17th May the mixed football team achieved their first win. They played Hattersley under 9 Titans and managed to get a 6-0 win. Thank you to the Titans for the match, hopefully we will get more games together. ⚽️ @DiscoveryASport @Discovery_Hyde

Easter is coming! We read the Easter story and decorated Easter baskets. We observed changes to our vegetable seeds.we listened to music and followed the rhythm with the instruments. We had 2 new little visits today.#inspiring @Discovery_Hyde @KirkbrideMrs 🐥🐥

We enjoyed copying rhythm games in PE. We sang ‘Ive got the rhythm’ and copied the actions. We used positional language in ICT and programmed the Bee-Bots find Jaspers Beanstalk. We have enjoyed working together outside #sharing @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde ❤️

Great day at @Cockfields_Farm filled with lots of fun. We enjoyed feeding and petting the animals, there were lots of tired children on the journey home 😴😀 @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde

We are feeling inspired after our morning visit from Coco and his vet nurse. We learnt about the different jobs you need to do to become a vet. We enjoyed sharing books in the library. #inspired #caring @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde

What a fabulous Friday. From a dancing dragon to musical instruments. We talked about if our favourite music was loud or quiet and used the instruments to replicate the one we liked. For snack we tried some Chinese food, this went a treat. @KirkbrideMrs

We have looked at the story ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. We enjoyed choosing what food we would have at our tea party and planned a train journey to meet him. @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde

We have had a super busy Tuesday! We have been learning about the value of penny’s and used these to buy our morning snacks. We joined in Cosmic Yoga and made lanterns for Chinese New Year. #achieving @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde

We have had a great day in Nursery, we read Greg The Sausage Roll and rolled lots of sausage rolls for Santa in the play dough. We did some super counting in maths today. @achieving @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde 🫔🫔🫔

The word of the day is journey. We travelled around the school as we sang the Wheels on the bus.We shared what we could see outside. We looked on google earth and recognised familiar places too. @discovering @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde 😍🌍☘️🌹

The word of the day is Map. In Geography we followed the instructions to make a map to help find Polly’s parrot. We followed our maps and found the parrot. Polly visited and thanked us for helping. #achieving #caring @KirkbrideMrs @Discovery_Hyde
