This afternoon, Room 13 were continuing their work on Building Resilience by exploring what they like to do to recharge their batteries 🔋

Today, Room 13 started a writing block, exploring different forms of poetry. We started with the features of kenning poems. These are almost like riddles. Can you guess what these are about?

This afternoon we have looked at how we can use music to help us regulate our emotions. We are creating a list of songs and will be making our class Spotify playlists for each emotion.

This afternoon we used magnetic boards to explore our new spelling lists. Two groups tried to work out their new spelling rules independently - great investigating!

Today we have discussed New Year and words of the year. Did you know that last year's word of the year was AI?

Today we have decided what we would like our word of 2024 to be. I can't wait to see their finished work!
