Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.

What an amazing day, watching my son perform his poem in the Y6 leavers assembly and running the summer fair. It’s always brilliant to see the whole school community come together and raise £1000 for school too. @coop_medlock

What an incredible day of poetry and performance at 1 Angel Square. Thanks to all @CoopAcademies participants for making it such a wonderful occasion. And a massive well done to @coop_medlock for winning the first ever Primary Poetry Festival. Can't wait for next year!

We have been working hard in Y1 to be more independent. Using Widgit with the Colourful Sematics symbols has helped them to write their own sentences and have a better understanding of sentence structure. This is an example of a warmup I did with Y2.

@MrAllington There are so many components to writing. It can be overwhelming for us as leaders and for the children! We have been using widgit alongside colourful semantics to help take away some of the cognitive load in Y1. Here is an example of a warmup I did in Y2 today.
