@HawleyMO Or you could vote on something people actually need and care about like... oh I don’t know... maybe another aid package. 🤷🏻♀️ That seems actually helpful.
@HawleyMO I wish you spent less time tweeting hateful, partisan bull crap that pushes a conservative agenda and more time focused actually helping your constituents back in Missouri and the rest of the US. It would be a better use of your time to do something that actually helped people.
@RoyBlunt I understand you’re thinking here. However, your job is to listen to your constituents, not follow your party. If you’re constituents are demanding you to withhold a vote that is your constitutional duty. Period. End of story.
@RoyBlunt and @HawleyMO, as a citizen of Missouri and one of your constituents, I would like to express my desire for you to withhold on voting for a new Supreme Court Justice until after the Inauguration in Jan. Remember it is your duty to listen to the voices you represent.
@RoyBlunt You also have a constitutional responsibility to listen to your constituents, not just follow the party line. Your job is to listen to the people you represent during an election and all other times as well.
@HawleyMO I would, again, like to express that as a citizen of MO, I whole heartedly expect you to refuse to vote for a new Justice until after the Inauguration.
@RoyBlunt I would like to, again, express that as a citizen of MO, I whole heartedly expect you to withhold a vote on a new Supreme Court Justice until after the inauguration. You are up for re-election in 2022. I assure you, sir, people will remember this moment.
@ClarkCardone@dawn_of_daz@HawleyMO Which furthermore proves that abortion is not funded as birth control which was the original argument given in the first reply. Again, if you have proof otherwise I’m open to learning.
@ClarkCardone@dawn_of_daz@HawleyMO I’m referring to the Hyde Amendment which was passed in 1976. This bars federal funding to be used for abortions with the exception of a few circumstances like rape, incest, or when a mother’s life is at risk. Many states have further restrictions upon these circumstances.
@ClarkCardone@dawn_of_daz@HawleyMO Clearly that’s not entirely not true as many people believe that, but that is less important. Would love to see where you have found federal money being used to find abortions. I’m always looking to learn and grow as an individual.
@lisamurkowski Thank you for pledging to refuse to vote for a new Supreme Court Justice. I appreciate your pledge and commitment to doing what’s right and allowing the American people a voice in the matter. Thank you!
@ChuckGrassley I would like to encourage you to refuse to vote in the event of a Supreme Court nomination/confirmation. Please withhold your vote and encourage your colleagues to do the same! Thank you, Senator Grassley!
@SenatorCollins I would like to encourage you to refuse to vote in the event of a Supreme Court nomination/confirmation. Please withhold your vote and encourage your colleagues to do the same! Thank you, Senator Collins!
@MittRomney I would like to encourage you to continue to take the stance of not voting in the case of a Supreme Court nomination/confirmation! Please withhold Amy our vote and encourage your colleagues to do the same! Thank you, Senator Romney.
@LindseyGrahamSC@realDonaldTrump In 2018, you promised to not allow a Supreme Court nomination/confirmation in the last year of this presidency and after primaries had begun. It’s deplorable that you are wavering on that now that it suits you. Shame on you, Sen. Graham.
@LindseyGrahamSC just want to remind you that YOU said this. I expect that you’d tay true to your word and do not allow a confirmation hearing and vote to take place.
“I want you to use my words against me. If there’s a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said let’s let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination."
@HawleyMO RBG was Jewish and doesn’t deserve to have your Christian idealogy forced upon her. Instead, it would be best to say “May her memory be a blessing”. Also, I expect you to withhold voting for a new Justice until Jan 2021.
