We’ve been researching famous people who failed as part of our building resilience. It’s interesting seeing how they turned their lives around to become the huge successes we know today!

At loose parts, we had a great time working in groups to build a shop, a parkour centre, and a McDonald's drive through - I think they really show creativity!

Practicing sketching this morning - no rubbers allowed! We’ve learned the secret is holding the pencil higher than when we’re writing so the lines are really light. We’ll use these new skills later n the week for some art linked to our topic - look out for an update!

We’re taking part in hour of code week in class this afternoon. Ask us about the different activities we got up to - Dance Party was my favourite!

To get us in the mood for Christmas Dinner tomorrow, we’re planning a Christmas dinner of our own. We need to keep to a budget and make sure we have enough for a family of six. We all have different ways of keeping track of what we have spent and how much money we have left.

Our Remembrance Day Service at St David’s Church this afternoon. We really appreciate so many of our families, friends and community members joining us. Some of our children also had the chance to speak to Cpt Affleck after the service and learn more about his life in the army.
