Our Schools of Sanctuary Ambassadors and Anti-Racism Leaders did us very proud today as they introduced the Day of Welcome and Refugee Week to the school! We also heard from some of our pupils and our families who have experience in seeking sanctuary ๐งก @WhinhillPS
We chose our own topics for a discursive piece of writing! We then worked in talk groups to discuss pros and cons for each argument ๐ญ This led to excellent dialogic skills during whole class discussions ๐๐ป @WhinhillPS

We had an egg hunt yesterday! We had to find the eggs in the classroom and identify if the phrase inside was a pun, and idiom or a proverb! ๐ต๏ธ @WhinhillPS
