I have been missing the old Twitter so much! I loved being able to showcase things happening in my classroom, get ideas from other educators, see what’s going on in my school/district, and engage with music educators around the world. What are people using now???
MPS Middle School Jazz Festival continued this afternoon with wonderful clinic sessions for woodwind, brass, and rhythm sections. Ended with a great performance by the @mwwildcatband Jazz Band!🎷 Thank you hosts, @MPS_Kiewit! @MPSAndersenMS @MPS_Beadle@mps_russell@north_middle
Was sad to learn that only one of these amazing @BlackElkEagles musicians is going to AMS next year 😢 but I’m enjoying my time with them now! New note today and they are rocking it!
This class of 11 percussionists at @UpchurchElem is doing great things! Can’t wait to see them on the @m_south_hs drumline and frontline in a few years!!
I am humbled and blessed to work alongside these amazing humans! They have a relentless work ethic and unwavering care for students. It’s inspiring to look at this picture and realize the impact they make. Let’s go Wolverine Nation! @MillardPS
We had THE best staff this week at @MSHS_Bands foundations camp! Shout out to our amazing boosters for supporting us and helping us achieve our vision ♥️
Such an amazing morning of @MSHS_Bands foundations band camp! I love that I get to work with the drum majors this year and help them lay a strong FOUNDATION for the season!
Grateful to work with the best team ever!🎵 Music teachers ALWAYS come when needed! They are supportive, hard working, caring, and get things done! Thank you to our MPS Music team (many not pictured) for ensuring our district instruments are ready for 24-25. Have a great summer!
My daughter wasn’t chosen as a captain for something but told me they did use an idea of hers.
She learned an important lesson- you don’t need a title to lead.
Lead first and titles will come.
