Today in math we learned about coin value and the kids were supposed to count some change found around the house. This kiddo took it next level all on his own! 💙 Proud.

A mama told me their family loved the 3digit war card game I “assigned” and they will be playing again later today. 💙 Families playing together and working on some math skills. 👌🏻

Education sometimes seems disconnected to the real world. Just remember that right now people’s priorities are staying safe, having adequate food, paying bills, job security and well simply surviving. Let’s make sure education is connected to this reality right now.

Today I put everything aside to get on the ground with my son and build a “house” out of sticks and rocks. We sat there for a long time playing and it reset my brain. I absolutely wouldn’t trade these days for anything. 💙

All day jammies
Dancing every single time the hot dog song comes on
My kid spoon feeding me yogurt while singing Baby Shark.

Soaking in every second of this...except for the tantrums. 😬💙
