We were in the zone today in math- the “shape zone!” The students were fully engaged creating 2D shapes with play dough and describing their sides and vertices. @WoodridgeElem

The class is busy spreading kindness through the @WoodridgeElem Valentine’s Post Office! We are also getting great practice using addresses to get our letters to our friends, siblings, and 5th grade buddies!

We loved participating in #WorldReadAloudDay listening to a 5th grade Library Leader read one of her favorites! We also learned about The Great Stink from @ColleenPaeff and students were able to ask her questions! Thank you @brawninthebooks for organizing! @WoodridgeElem @AHISD

We have been learning about nonfiction text features in reading! The students have found important words that are bold and italic as well as making captions to describe photographs. @WoodridgeElem

We cemented our understanding of living and nonliving things today comparing earthworms to gummy worms! After observing them we released the worms into the @WoodridgeElem garden so that they could continue to get what they need to live!
