Reception had fun sowing cress seeds yesterday. They're hoping to grow some cress hair for their funny face pots. Some are hoping it'll start to grow in 2 days, others are thinking it could take 90 days. We will see.... #biggrow @RedesdalePrim @giyireland @innocent

In preparation for making a bug hotel, reception children @RedesdalePrim went on a mini beast hunt to see which mini beasts were close by to visit. @innocent @giyireland #biggrow

Reception children @RedesdalePrim enjoyed using paint, pasta, rice, seeds and glitter for @giyireland @innocent week 2 #biggrow challenge (minus the selfie pic). We also planted peas & talked about where seeds grow best - soil, stones or sand. We're waiting to see the results.
