@DJSpoony we saw Stevie at the Lytham Music Festival in July, it was my 1st time seeing him live and I cried more than once as it felt like a complete privilege, he was amazing x
@AlisonMoyet looking forward to seeing you tonight. In the 80's someone looking like you lived near us in Gateshead. My sisters were convinced then & are still that this was you! Gateshead is lovely but you didn't move here at the height of your fame did you?
@DuncanGilm41333 @RevRichardColes @emirates@British_Airways My husband, daughter and I were upgraded on a flight from NY with Britisg Airways last year. Economy was overbooked, we got to the airport early and were lucky. We were also polite and friendly and didn't ask to be upgraded.
@CressidaMorgan @RevRichardColes My husband resisted for years and is now wishing he'd got his a long time ago. I can't get away with calling him names under my breath anymore though!
@AlisonMoyet Conversely my mother & sister are convinced that in the mid 80's you moved into the street next to us. That's right, at the peak of your fame you moved to Gateshead! I still argue with them that it wasn't you, just someone who looked like you
@AlisonMoyet Out with my daughter, woman coming towards us, I mutter I know this lady but can't remember her name, I think I worked with her. I greeted her enthusiastically she said a quick hello and kept on walking. Rude! Then realised it was Faye from Steps!
@Dawn_French 2025.... bring it on! Looking forward to having my diary with me throughout the year and that it helps me live up to the words on my coaster x
@ShirleyBallas I love your responses to these people Shirley. How sad and unhappy their lives must be to not find joy in Strictly and to then waste their time spouting out their negative opinions.
@BarbaraDixon__ I've followed the twins story through your tweets and I'm so happy to see them looking so well. They are beautiful. Happy Christmas to you all and thank you for sharing them with us xx
@SELFESTEEM___ Absolutely brilliant and very funny. Also I love your top. Where is it from? Alternatively I've taken photos and will try to replicate it myself 😉
***WARNING: PROFANE LANGUAGE***
Fascinating Aïda's inimitable wish for us to behave toward family and friends with kindness and respect over the festive period feels even more pertinent as we enter 2025.
