I've just realized that bar one part time teacher who's been with us a couple of years, I'm the oldest teacher in school! (47) don't drink coffee or smoke, though!
Shout out to that one teacher at every school in their mid 50s who smells of coffee and cigarettes, teaches how they want, doesn’t follow school policy, (because they have their own policy) and even SLT are slightly afraid of them because they’re a bit volatile.

Look at small children's book publishers and their submission criteria, or the agent route. But, if anyone is asking you to pay them, be wary...

Self publishing is a thing! And it's proper !
Looking for publishing houses to do it? you'd need an agent first, or you need to research small publishing houses who are taking direct submissions.
