Today we played Place Value Pick Up: pick up six cards and see what is the biggest number you can build. You must use three decimal places. Whose number is bigger? By how much? Some students drew a 10 or two 10s and had to use more place value columns! Math is fun! @GNPSNews
The end of September and finally just getting in my first post of the year after settling into a school and grade change. We were blessed with amazing weather for Gosfield’s 2023 Terry Fox Run! Go cougars!
KPS: 2023 Team Champions!!!! 🐍🎉🏆 We are so proud of the way you represented us today during your races and at the event. You put your heart and soul into your races and jumps, cheered for one another and showed up painted in purple and gold. Congrats, Cobras! @KingsvilleCobra
Shout out to our @KingsvilleCobra Ambassadors who spent their Thursday evening giving tours to our future Cobra families during Kindergarten Open House. We are proud of how you represented our school and grateful for your time and leadership!
A glimpse of the KPS auto show! Grade 7s had to design a structure that protected a grade 8 dragster from dropping marbles and spraying water, while also looking nice and matching the car’s style. Classes walked through to view today! @KingsvilleCobra
KPS welcomed the return of dragsters this year. Our races were fast and fun, and we had so many neat cars. Our winning car was named “TIJ-10,” the course code for the grade 9 Tech class, bc of how much students enjoyed building. @KingsvilleCobra Championship races next week!
KPS students enjoyed carrying on an old tradition of carolling in the gym this morning and will continue each day this week. Grade 8s singing “Let it Go” at the top of their lungs from the back wall makes my heart smile 🥰 @KingsvilleCobra
Dirtying up our historical newspaper articles to make them look like artifacts from the 1800s with powdered paint and coffee. Bonus: using French vanilla coffee makes the room smell extra festive! @KingsvilleCobra
Students are hard at work designing and preparing their dragster cars for cutting tomorrow at @KDHSNews . Looking forward to seeing how they turn out when they are cut and decorated! @KingsvilleCobra
A special shout out to these girls going above and beyond in their news broadcast project. They came prepared with a microphone prop and set up their own green screen to film in front of! @KingsvilleCobra
