MBES competed in the Fulton County Science Olympiad competition on Saturday. The team of MBES students finished 10th in Fulton County! Congratulations Mustangs!
Sports Day would not be complete without some “Dashketball.” We also played volleyball, ran relay races, and made a giant chain of Olympic Rings. What a day! @MBESprincipal@cmshannan_jones@WonderWorkshop
I love when learning is cross curricular. We used @modrobotics magnetic Cubelets to build squares and rectangles. Then we built cubes and rectangular prisms and named the attributes. So much fun! @MBESprincipal@cmshannan_jones@MedlockBridgeES
Students built habitats to show what animals need to survive. Check out the woodpecker, stingray, panda, and moose. Man. I love these kids. @MBESprincipal@MedlockBridgeES
Some Grinch inspired sleds today. How many “packages” could your sled hold? I was pretty amazed at the thoughtful and creative sleds from these first graders! @MBESprincipal@DrParhamFCS@MedlockBridgeES
We learned about, made, and tested 3 kinds of snowflakes. Tomorrow we will see who can build the snowflake that floats the longest. I can’t wait to see what happens! @MBESprincipal@DrParhamFCS@MedlockBridgeES
