Getting ready for tomorrow’s Pumpkin Walk and Dance. The Gr. 6 students @svdptiger were excited about their creative pumpkins and enjoyed working collaboratively with their classmates.
The Gr.6 students @svdptiger learned about the Holocaust and participated in discussions about racism, diversity and human rights. The FSWC educator was energetic and challenged the students to take a stand against present day hate and intolerance. @TourForHumanity@WCDSBequity
The grade 6 students participated in keeping Terry Fox’s dream alive. They shared stories of who they were dedicating this Marathon of Hope to while out enjoying the beautiful weather.

The grade 6 students @svdptiger had fun exploring the characteristics of living things. These scientists engaged in conversations and observed many living and non living things found in our schoolyard.
Today was filled with excitement as I got to meet all my new grade 6 students @svdptiger. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year filled with laughter, smiles, creativity, fun and critical thinking. Let’s explore new possibilities together and have an amazing year!
The grade 6 students @svdptiger had a great afternoon playing soccer in the SVDP World Cup. Students cheered for each other, showed impressive skills, and enjoyed the sunshine! Congratulations to everyone on a fun afternoon!
Mission Fun Day was a great success! The Gr. 6 students @svdptiger enjoyed visiting all the activities with their friends. They visited the Candy Shop, won cakes, bought books, had freezies, and so much more! What an amazing day! More memories were made from their Gr. 6 year!
One of the best things about being a teacher is working with students to help them achieve their best, inspiring them, watching them grow as learners and seeing how proud they are of their work. We have learned so much from each other this year. My heart is full! @svdptiger
