#Pirates2DC are on the downhill side of our amazing journey. We are heading to spend some time in Baltimore before catching our flight back home. It’s been a wonderful trip and a unique experience for sure!
Students are wrapping up their survival journals using google slides as digital journals of their “experiences” of getting through a natural disaster. @PhinneyAndrew#CertifySPS
I’m in the middle of a #wevideo project right now! I’m excited to show them how they can use time lapse in their projects from learning at #igniteSPS with @dhammer31 and @yankeemandy and hopefully create some podcasts of their learning next unit!
Thank you to all of the donors for @Foundation4SPS! My @Pipkin6thGrade@PipkinR12 students received 2 grants to fund classroom magazines and a STEAM space! I can hardly wait to collaborate with my students to create these experiences! #PiratePride
Great strategies @edutopia I worry when having students read aloud if it embarrasses them or makes them feel inadequate, but I know they will improve their comprehension and reading fluency by reading aloud. Adding chorale reading to my toolkit. https://t.co/GIcjIwNIc3
So proud of my 8th grade pirates! Tearing up a bit as we send them on to high school with their @PipkinR12 8th grade promotion tonight! I had the pleasure of having many of these kids as 6th graders as well and it’s been awesome to see how they’ve grown!
