@raegynfulmek I love using safety, respect, & responsibility. Usually if something goes haywire I can refer to those as a good starting point for our conversation. I have also included things like being inclusive, always trying, & belief in God.
@raegynfulmek I really liked using google classroom during the pandemic and post pandemic when it was still required that we put things up for students. Our division has moved towards Edsby as its main platform now.
@BrianGrocholski@MmeLBlair Healthy Leadership with Reg Leidl for sure was one of my top classes. I learned so much about myself and the type of school I want to lead one day
@BrianGrocholski I decided to take my Masters for a whole lot of reasons: I love learning, and it's something for me (not for my family directly), I wanted to learn how to become a better teacher in reading & writing, and I wanted to gain some skills and insight to one day become admin
I appreciated my colleagues thoughts here. I've seen it in action before and I'd admired that admin for staying connected and getting into classrooms intentionally and regularly to support.
I feel that this advice is always important. We need to remember where we came from and not lose sight of that. As Administrators, we need to put ourselves back in the class to not lose this perspective. #eci831@HelpATeacher
@andrea_olesen@HelpATeacher One of the best practices (my opinion/appreciated) I've noticed is a past admin would block off 1 hour every morning and go into a classroom and be part of guided reading station. Unless it was an emergency she didn't get disturbed. Great way to stay connected!
Last night I learned all about Chat GBT and other similar sites. I'm blown away at what it can do but I have a fear of what it can also become. #eci831
The lesson plan and worksheet creation was pretty deadly!
@andrea_olesen I whole heartedly agree with this! Activism needs more then just opinions and sharing of information, it also needs "feet on the ground" to make real change.
Do you do daily check ins with your students? Here are some great tech tools to do that. #eci831. My favourite was the Feelings Monsters. Check it out!
These #tech solutions give educators and mental health professionals in #K12 schools a way to monitor and manage students’ emotional brain development. https://t.co/vdN2VZZZW0
Meet arms! #eci831
1. How do you balance your time with technology?
2. How do you balance your students time with technology?
3. If you have children how do you balance their time with technology?
I'll admit more then I'd like to that sometimes my children are not balanced.
Hey! Have you met Arms?
Help students learn how to balance digital life, just like Arms! Arms helps kids learn how to make healthy choices to find balance between the things they do on- and offline.

#MeetTheDigitalCitizens
I am wondering today if we will ever see a curriculum implemented into SK schools that focuses on teaching students digital citizenship, and use of social media platforms for education use? #eci831
