Other people can't set your limits. They have the right to make requests, but self-preservation is your responsibility.

@Seesaw I love that we can send individual students activities but I wish we could do the same with announcements!!! During remote learning students have different schedules & need access to just their schedule but I can’t figure out a way to do this effectively!

Dear @ISBEnews - please consider taking testing & evaluation off our plates for 20-21. We need all available time, resources, & energy to prepare & maintain safe environments, mental health of Ss & Tt, & professional development so we can serve Ss better in this time of need.
I’m reallly passionate about making change in this world, and in education, but I’m also really scared about facing unfounded criticism and backlash as I move forward. I know it, “Comes with the territory,” but it’s still frustratingly frightening to me.
Please be very careful with what your kids hear about any decisions for distance vs in-person learning. If we are visibly upset in front of our kids, it doesn't help them. It only adds even more stress to a tough situation that they don't fully understand.
Policymakers are pushing for schools to reopen, but did you know that reopening schools is an economic impossibility without a real federal investment? Schools are not a test ground - Congress is responsible for providing the funding they need. #SELS2020#4SpecialEducation
