Alabama teachers: Please read!
I had a baby a few days ago, and I’m out on maternity leave for the rest of the school year. Unfortunately, I did not have enough sick days saved up to have a paid leave.
Please message me directly if the link doesn’t work, and I will send it to you a different way.
If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this thread helps as well! My husband, baby Grayson, and I really appreciate it!
You don’t have to work for Shelby County to donate. Anyone in Alabama can! Here is the sick day transfer form if you are interested: https://t.co/LsXDLqTJPZ
@illsingyourname When my admin called a kid’s parents after he punched me in the face last year, the mom responded with “Okay.”
OKAY.
I was punched in the face repeatedly by a 12-year-old.
And that’s…..okay.
I might’ve preferred the calming banana. 😂
First Chapter Friday is my favorite, but this one was special because my husband read to my class today. Students loved seeing a different side of their social studies teacher!
Had some guest readers from other parts of the building last week. Students need to see that reading isn’t just for English teachers. I love my coworkers! #readingisFUNdamental#flyasone@CaMSEagles
