Sorted and ready to pass out on Monday 📝💌 if you ever need a good cry, just ask parents to send in a note to their sweet baby (even if they are cool 13 year olds). We are so ready for this M-Step.
Well, we did it! Between loved ones, numerous RMS staff, previous teachers, and the football coach (he loves me) we have over 700 notes for our 7th graders to read before starting the ELA M-Step. Each one of our 341 ELA babies will get a note from someone who cares about them❤️
One of my most favorite days 🏀🧡 Today the ELA 7 students cheered on the Texas Western Miners (@UTEPAthletics ) in the 1966 NCAA Championship game against the Kentucky Wildcats (@KentuckyMBB ) as we finished the Glory Road screenplay.
“You are one of those teacher that I can talk to when something is wrong with me”
“You care about us so we care about you”
“… you always make sure your students are okay”
“Every time I walk in to your class I smile”
🥹I really love these kids and I’m so happy they know it.
The 8th grade football team made my son’s night tonight. They cheered for him as he ran the bleachers and gave him about 100 high fives. He talked about it the whole way home and it was his “something good” during our bedtime chat. This was what I needed to fill my bucket today❤️
We have been reading Barnyard Dance since my 2-year-old was born. It is his top pick when he chooses his bedtime books. Last night he started “reading” as soon as I opened the book and my heart exploded @SandyBoynton
So happy to experience learning like this again 🍎 We started the year with our Syllabus Breakout and then jumped into our #40bookchallenge with genre tasting.
Today my thoughts are with the families that attend Edison and Dooley Of Fraser Public Schools and the teachers who are F2F with kids this week. Covid has hit their buildings hard, in solidarity! #FraserFamily
