We held a quiet reflection for Holocaust Memorial Day. In stillness and prayer, we remembered those who suffered and who were lost. We made our own promises about how we spread Jesus’ light to others through our words and actions. 🕯️✨ #StMarysRadcliffeHistory@StMarysRCRad
A huge thank you to all our parents and families who joined us this week for Stay and Pray. Together we reflected on what Peace means to us, and how we can spread peace through our words, actions and choices every day. 💙🕊️ @StMarysRCRad#StMarysRadcliffeCatholicLife
Thank you to these three dedicated staff and Mrs Cartwright, hiding behind the camera, for spending their evening collecting an armchair for one of our cosy new nooks! ⭐️🏆💙
This week we launched our new English unit by taking a closer look at the treasures on display at a local antique shop, followed by a visit to our own school museum. So much curiosity and lots of inspiration! ✨📚

Our class have been learning to code on ScratchJr today — using simple blocks to move their characters around the screen, change direction, and test what happens next. Lots of problem-solving (and big smiles)! Next step: creating our own animations 🎬💻 @StMarysRCRad
We celebrated Epiphany by exploring the stories of the wise men and wise women. The children created artwork and baked star bread, which we enjoyed during our Celebration of the Word. A wonderful week of learning! 🌟

Tiny coders, big ideas! This week, we tinkered with ScratchJr and kicked off our coding journey—lots of creativity, problem-solving, and smiles. 💻✨ @StMarysRCRad#StMarysRadcliffeComputing
EYFS and KS1 celebrated Epiphany together, led by our GIFT Chaplains. We were very excited to see our gifts of Gold Frankincense and Myrrh! #stmarysradcliffecatholiclife
Well that has to be the most speedy response to my training that I have seen - well done Class 5 and I am so pleased to hear about thinking and enthusiasm - these do usually go together! 👏🏻
First day back saw some brilliant spelling practise!
We built words using root words + suffixes, then practised with a Battleships-style spelling game. Lots of careful thinking and some serious enthusiasm!
Inspired by yesterday’s training with @LouiseSelby21 🙌 @StMarysRCRad
We are so proud of our children after their beautiful Nativity performance 🌟 All their hard work paid off, creating such a special and magical moment for all. ✨
@StMarysRCRad
We’ve been analysing different artists’ impressions of the Nativity, then creating our own interpretations and sharing what they show about the Christmas story 🎨✨ @StMarysRCRad#StMarysRadcliffeReligion
Going purple for the start of Advent 💜
Today we lit the first candle of hope and shared our wishes and prayers for others as we journey towards Christmas together. ✨🕯️

What a wonderful Parish Christmas Fair! Amazing entertainment from our school choir; a visit from Father Christmas and the staff even managed a quick bounce in the snow globe! #stmarysradcliffecatholiclife@StMarysRCRad
We used a bag of oranges a child brought in to explore the equator, poles and hemispheres. 🍊🌍 Hands-on geography = big smiles and brilliant questions! @StMarysRCRad#StMarysRadcliffeGeography
Thank you to Pudsey for making a surprise visit to @StMarysRCRad today! Two of our fantastic Caritas team showed him round! Thank you to our families for supporting this worthy cause! @BBCCiN
Big smiles and big hearts at @StMarysRCRad today 💛 Our children loved wearing their own clothes (and all those Pudsey tops and ears!) and bringing in £1 to raise money for Children in Need. We even had a surprise visit from a twerking Pudsey bear in class! 🧸✨
