Year 4 @WakefieldMetSch had a busy afternoon identifying, vertebrate, invertebrate and flowering and non-flowering plants in the school grounds. We cannot wait to see how it compares to what is in the local park tomorrow. @WhiteRoseEd #PrimaryScience

There was rain, mud, slips,slides and smiles for Year 6 @WakefieldMetSch in our PE lesson this afternoon. Despite the downpour there were some great ball handling skills on show in tag rugby. Another great lesson from @GetSet4Ed

Class 2 had a fantastic day at Scarborough. We enjoyed looking at the features of this wonderful seaside resort. We visited the lifeboat station, had a lovely picnic on the beach and had fun making sandcastles. 🌊🤩

Year 4 @WakefieldMetSch had an amazing day at the Wesley Lifepath event at The Kings Way Church in Ossett on Monday. Lots of fantastic activities for us to enjoy. The children were an absolute credit to our school. A huge thanks to Lynsey for organising it.

Year 4 @WakefieldMetSch have done an amazing job when using closed questions to create classification keys. We are looking forward to getting outside now to identify and compare plants and animals in different habitats. #primaryscience #Teamwork
