To me, the hardest part about grieving is that life just goes on while the pain sets in on those who are hurting.

It’s been one year since he took his last breath.
There have been so many things that have happened this year that I wanted to call and tell him…extraordinary things that make me imagine the grin he’d have if he were here.
I think he would be proud of all of us.
