In all seriousness, this was such a meaningful class writing activity with a real purpose behind it. Moments like this remind me just how lucky I am to work alongside so many talented, inspiring teachers and administrators every day 💛

3rd graders @Hamilton_LN had the opportunity to go see “A Pirate-y Peter Pan” at the Fitton Center today! Afterwards, they worked hard at making connections between the play, book, and movie. We are so proud of their hard work in this @ELeducation module! @Hamilton_Instr
Year 1 Resident Educators @Hamilton_LN completed their 2nd task-Formative & Summative Assessments today, acing a matching activity. Research by John Hattie says formative assessment can double student learning speed by enabling real-time instructional adjustments. @Hamilton_Instr

These fourth graders are amazing! Using RACES (restate, answer, cite,explain, summarize) when we are preparing for class discussions! Today we did a close read in ROAR block on Daughters of the American Revolution&how they helped the war in ways other than fighting! @Hamilton_LN

Ss in @TeachThemMissM class get to choose how they demonstrate their knowledge and understanding on their mid mod assessment. Ss can choose to create a poster, Slides, or Collage. They utilize a rubric to reference their work and include all requirements! @Hamilton_LN 🐆💙
