Celebrated a very special graduating class tonight! Four of the graduates started middle school in my 6th grade language arts class at Deland Middle and ended up at Taylor High with me in 9th and 10th grade English! Bittersweet night for sure! โค๏ธ๐

Continuing to educate myself not only to be a better mother, friend, and person in general. But also to be a better teacher so that my students may know they are valued, loved, respected, and supported. #knowbetterdobetter
Been reading a lot of things these last several days. Things that have moved me, educated me, broken me, and encouraged me. Iโve seen all the posts, some bandwagon, some not. This post, however, spoke to me differently and I felt compelled to share.
