Some classes @StMonicaMilton celebrated #WorldBookDay with an online visit from @theresabreslin1 Infants loved hearing Scottish Folk & Fairy Tales and our upper school were excited to read along with Dream Master. One pupil was so inspired he immediately started writing a novel!

Primary 2 had lots of fun with our class IPads today. They were on the hunt for 2D shapes and 3D objects that they could spot in the classroom and used their iPad to take photographs of these. @StMonicaMilton @MrsLLuke #digitalfun

We had lots of fun in the gym hall today working on our ball skills. We worked on controlling the ball, bouncing and catching. @StMonicaMilton

Primary 2 went on a very interesting walk today. We took part in a traffic survey of Liddesdale road and found that cars are the most popular form of transport. We only saw 1 motorbike, bus and bicycle. @StMonicaMilton #cop26
