My heart is full of pride leaving my lovely P3βs after an amazing year with them. I know they are going to be awesome p4βs! The gifts I received today are just wonderful and received with much thanks. π₯° Schools out! Have a fab summer!
Catching the hailstones after our tennis session today. We were discussing the common saying of βfour seasons in one dayβ to describe our ever changing Scottish weather, today was a fine example! βοΈπ¨οΈβοΈ@FerryhillSchoo1
P3 were tasked to find objects in our playground. Their items became the stimulus for some awesome stories! The stone became a portal to another dimension, the red cone became a cat chased by a wee pinecone mouse and the wood chips were ancient fossils! #outdoorlearning
A very busy start to the last week of term for P3 Duffus. The first of many class talks took place this morning, they were all amazing! Then all hands on deck to finish our artwork for our Historic World themed Royal Sports Day! Please rain, stay away π€π»
We had a great day celebrating our favourite books! The pupils made a giant reading den to read their books with our fun pen torches! #WorldBookDay2024
Super proud of my wee P3βs incredible Alberto Giacometti inspired highland dancer sculptures. We loved incorporating our Tunnocks tea cake wrappers as part of our Scotland topic too. #p3teacher#letthemcreate
P3D had so much fun creating illustrations inspired by the fantastic story βNeeps and Tattiesβ by Carey Morning. We brought them to life using some fab animation apps. Thanks so much for the free book resource @NBMScotland βΊοΈ
I introduced my lovely new P3βs to one of my favourite outdoor maths games, they had so much fun that I think they forgot they were learning maths π@FerryhillSchoo1 ββπ°
We continued our maths investigations using the sun to tell the time this afternoon. We used compasses to find true north direction to determine the suns direction. We checked in on them later and successfully read the time π
